- The Social Security Administration (SSA) in Baltimore, MD requires a vendor to remove the existing conveyor system and furnish the necessary material, mechanical installation and electrical wiring required to replace the current conveyor system in the picking area, the accumulation between picking and packing and the packing area as well as palletizing in the new configuration. The trash conveyor is to be replaced as well. All work is to be done at the Supply Building, SSA Headquarters, Baltimore, MD. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 333922. The small business size standard is 500 employees. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small businesses. Solicitation Number SSA-RFP-08-1072 is scheduled to be posted on this website on or about June 4, 2008. The period of performance is 180 days after contract award. The solicitation will inform offerors about the site visit.
