- HSCG87-08-Q-6WNYCT. PARKING AND ROADWAY PAVING U.S. COAST GUARD INTEGRATED SUPPORT COMMAND KETCHIKAN, KETCHIKAN, ALASKA. Project Number 17-40207. Contractor shall furnish all equipment, materials, transportation, and labor to complete the following: The work shall consist of surface preparation and application of minimum 3 inch thick compacted asphalt pavement, meeting Alaska DOT Type 2 or equal on 19,000 SF of existing gravel parking area and roadways on the upper base of ISC Ketchikan. In addition, the work shall include surface preparation and application of minimum 2 inch thickness asphalt pavement, meeting Alaska DOT Type 2 or equal on 3000 SF of existing paved roadway (ie. Overlay). All pavement shall be sloped/graded/crowned to ensure drainage so that no standing water (i.e. No area of water more than 100 square feet immediately after rainfall) remains on pavement after significant rainfall events. Pavement shall neatly transition to existing manholes, utility boxes, etc. Project completion date is by 1 October, 2008. The estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. This procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237310 and the applicable size standard is $31.0 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responsible small businesses may submit a quotation. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Solicitation documents may be accessed for download from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about 12 June, 2008 at the following site: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this website. Prospective quoters are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time of due date for receipt of quotations. A plan holders list will not be available for this project from CEU-Juneau.
