- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase on a sole source basis (10) LBT-50K3G-25-15-M14, Fiber Optic Transmitter, (10) LBR-50K3G-10-15-10, Fiber Optic Receiver, (10) SCMT-50K6G-28-20-MI14, Fiber Optic Transmitter and (10) SCMR-50K6G-10-20-10, Fiber Optic Receiver from Miteq, Inc., 100 Davids Drive, Hauppauge, NY 11788. These replacement parts for the Ultra Wideband Links are required to meet size and interface requirements from the original design. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. Anticipated award date is 13 June 2008. Delivery is FOB destination Dahlgren Virginia. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334290 with a size standard of 750 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. Quotes may be submitted via email to DLGR_NSWC_XDS13@navy.mil or facsimile at (540) 653-6810, Attn: XDS13-9. Reference Request for Quotation Number N00178-08-Q-3650 on all correspondence. The closing date for receipt of quotations is 30 May 2008.
