- ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING & FINAL DESIGN of Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Base Building, Abilene Rgional Airport, Abilene, Texas. The A/E shall design a Low Activity Level (LAL) ATCT with a 395 square foot cab and an adjacent modified Standard 9,000 square foot Base Building. Recommended site is approximately 3.2 acres and is located approximately 600 ft North-East of the existing ATCT and the Airport Terminal Building. The FAA intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the requirement. A/E firm selection/award will be based on Technical Merit, Cost, and Schedule. This Notice if for information purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, economically disadvantaged individuals, and woman-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
