- The HQ, U.S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC) 2008 Advanced Planning Briefing for Industry (APBI) will be held to provide information regarding service requirements in support of HQ, ASC world-wide operations. This briefing will NOT include ammunition items. When: 20-21 August 2008. Where: HQ ASC Baylor Conference Room, Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. Events: 1 day event including briefings and panel discussion, with working lunch (pay as you go) Day 1, and mixer the evening of 20 August 2008. (Please note on the registration form that advance payment for the luncheon is due not later than 13 August.) Who: Contractors interested in HQ ASC service acquisition opportunities. How to register: Electronic pre-registration form is available at http://www.aschq.army.mil/ac/aais/ioc/ascadvanced.htm (see URL below). Electronic registration will be accepted until close of business 13 AUG 2008 (However, please note: if you wish your company and attendees to be included in the APBI attendees booklet, you must register no later than 05 August 2008). At this time, due to space limitations, companies will be limited to two (2) attendees each (Total registration is limited to 250 persons). However, as the date for the APBI draws closer, please check the AAIS web link, below, as we may allow more than two (2) per company based on seating availability.)
