- This is a combined synopisis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this Request for Quote (RFQ) is Q4130080603. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisitoin Circular (FAC) 05-25. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions are available electronically at http://www.arnet.gov/far/. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 424610 and the small business size standard is no more than 100 employees. Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) to be issued at time of award: CLIN#00013,700 linear feet (lf) of plastic resin composite lumber x $______ per lf = $_________ CLIN#00029,216 linear feet (lf) of plastic resin composite lumber x $______ per lf = $_________ Both line items have the following requirements:lumber will be used to replace exterior boardwalk, treadway decking; boards must be cedar in color and 1.25"to1.5" thick x 5.5" to 6" wide x 12' long; nominal board 2"x6"x12' is acceptable; boards must have 24" span on center; delivered product will be 12' long even if manufactured longer; product will have solid core; product must have slip resistant finish; product must be resistant to moisture, rot, warping, and fading, product must carry minimum 25 year warranty against failure. Pricing provided must be all inclusive to include shipping, handling and have no additional charges to be incurred by the Government. Provide with quote product information, including but not limited to, contents of product and warranty information. FOB DESTINATION to Allegheny Portage Railroad National Historic Site, 110 Federal Park Road, Gallitzin, PA 16641ATTN: Arch Thompson Facility Manger. Delivery is expected on or before June 30, 2008. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commerical, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation procedure to be used will be lowest, responsible offer received that meets requirements defined. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer. This may be completed electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
