- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for KG-175D for Taclane Micro Encryptors with Sectera Trade-In for a Quantity of (26). The proposed purchase order is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with General Dynamics under the test program described in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 13.5 and under authority 41 U.S.C. 253 (c ) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified and approved for General Dynamics. The following: FAR Part 13.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition. 52.212-1 (MAR 2005) Offeror Representations and Certification – Commercial Item, 52.212-4 (SEP 2005) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. 52.212-5 (APR 2006) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Also, the full text of provision and clauses may be accessed electronically at http://www.access.gpo.gov and http://www.arnet.gov/far/. The Government anticipates the award on a firm-fixed price purchase order. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competion based on responses to this notice solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. All communication concerning this announcement must be in writing and received by 2:00 p.m. eastern time, no later than May 27, 2008 Ms. Michelle Reeves via email at Michelle.Reeves@usdoj.gov. Quotes are due on June 3, 2008, no later than 2:00 p.m. eastern time. All respondents will be considered by this agency.
