- Description
- The Bureau of the Public Debt intends to award, on a non-competitive basis, an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract, to Systems Engineering, Inc., 21351 Gentry Drive, Dulles, VA 20166-6510 for a base period and four, one-year option periods. Systems Engineering, Inc. has a unique knowledge of the existing security system and the closed circuit television system, which they previously installed, and this contract will complete the expansion of the existing system. Due to the nature of this acquisition, the use of the proposed source is the only logical alternative to the Government. The components must be maintained, exclusively by Systems Engineering, Inc., to provide security to FinCEN’s facilities, information, and personnel twenty-four seven, three hundred sixty-five days a year. The proposed Contractor has the ability to perform the work request, without a stoppage in service or any termination of existing warranties to the Government. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE. Public Debt will consider all affirmative responses received no later than Friday, June 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. est. A request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response. If no affirmative response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all requirements and that is more advantageous to the Government, we will make a sole-source award to Systems Engineering, Inc.
