- Description
- The purpose of this modification is to change the estimated release date for the official solicitation to June 20, 2008 and to change the FOB to Destination. This notice supersede all previous notices. This is not an official solicitation. NSN: 1005-01-381-5431, P/N: 57K1224, the item to be procured is a MG Ring Mounting Kit which, is required when an M66 Ring Mount, (1005-00-701-2810) is installed on the family of medium & light tactical vehicles, M1083 5-ton series. Parts c/o: gasket, machine gun platform assembly, hinges, floor frame assembly, platforms, straps, plates, braces, stiffeners, lanyard assembly, mounting brackets, covers, channel, angle, (vehicular seat that is sole source), hex head screws and plain washers. Requirements are for a Firm Fixed Price, 5-Year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract, with a Guaranteed Minimum Quantity of 500 each and a Maximum Contract Quantity of 25,000 each MG Ring Mounting Kit. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is June 20, 2008. There is a Heavy Phosphate Requirement MIL-DTL-16232 (Finish Series 5.3 of MIL-STD-171). There is a Demilitarization and First Article Test (FAT) requirement. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 AND 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/solinfo/index.htm Caution: this solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Proposed contract is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All or a part of this action is an unfunded requirement. The following Numbered Notes apply: 26.
