- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Grease Trap Removal Services for the Federal Correctional Complex located in Beaumont, Texas. The requirement will include service, pump, and dispose of approximately 43,200 gallons of grease per year. There are 6 grease traps on the Complex: (4) 6,000 gallon, (1) 7,200 gallon, and (1) 12,000 gallon trap. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract shall consist of a 12-month base year and four 12 month option years. The estimated quantities are as follows: Base Year - 43,200 gallons ; Option Year 1 - 43,200 gallons; Option Year 2 - 43,200 gallons; Option Year 3 - 43,200 gallons; Option Year 4 - 43,200 gallons. The solicitation will be available on or about May 28, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about June 26, 2008. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 562119. The solicitation is 100% set-a-side for small business. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible small businesses may submit a quote, which will be considered.
