- The Department of Defense intends to award a firm-fixed price service contract for Emergency Ambulance Services at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq. Services shall include 24/7/365 response. The contractor shall provide all personnel, uniforms, medicines, ambulances, supplies and administrative support. The area of resonsibility for responding to emergencies consists of Al Asad Air Base, 26 square miles. The Period of Performance is project to be 1 August 2008 through 31 July 2009 with one 1-year option period. The NAICS code for the procurement is 621910. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
