- ***UPDATE***22 MAY 20085 JUNE SITE VISIT INFORMATION: Project No. ZHTV 06-0021: Wright-B Flyer Replica Storage Facility (Base)C1 Landscaping (Option I)H1 Air Conditioning Unit AHU-1 (Option II) Solisitation No. FA8601-08-R-0023 The scope of the Storage Facility project consists of furnishing all materials and perform all labor required to construct a storage facility for the Wright-B Flyer replica, to be housed adjacent to the Huffman Prairie Flying Field in Area C of WPAFB. The overall estimated price range is between $500K and $1M, and the two Option Line Items are estimated between $25K and $100K (combined). The NAICS Code is 236220. The size standard is $31.0M. This procuremnet is being RESTRICTED to competition within the 8(a) program participants serviced by the SBA Columbus and Cleveland District Offices, and other construction firms with a bona fide place of business, in accordance with SBA Notice 8000-523, within the geographical boundaries of the relevant competitive areas. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 Alternate A, contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor registration (CCR) prior to award of solicitations. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr.gov. Notes:(1) The solicitation, specifications, and drawings will be available on the website on or about 19 May 2008, at http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil.(2) Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be provided. However, you may download and print the file from the website.(3) There is no fee for this solicitation.(4) A registration page will be attached to the wesite. You are not required to register. However, when you register you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addendums that may be issued to the solicitation. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the website for any changes to the solicitation.(5) Contractors shall be capable of securing bonding for the total proposed amont, (base plus options). However, contractors shall only be responsible for exercised at the time of award. If an option is exercised after award, contractors shall be responsible for securing the additional bonding equal to the amount of the option.(6) Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with such contractors. Proposals prepared by Debarred, suspended, or otherwise ineligible contractors are at the risk and expense of the contractor.(7) You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 by the proposal closing date specified in the solicitation.
