- Description
- This project is for a new weather tight, waterproof standing seam roof on the Merlin Tree Cooler. Work consists of removing the current wood shingle roofing; installing 30-pound felt; and installation of new standing seam roofing; installation of all necessary flashing and roof penetrations; removal of gutters and downspouts prior to construction; reinstallation of gutters and downspouts after standing seam roof is installed. The project is located on the Wild Rivers Ranger District of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. The specific location is the Grants Pass Interagency Fire Center located in Merlin Oregon. This solicitation is set aside for Emerging Small Business. Price Range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about June 9, 2008. A payment bond (100 percent) will be required after award. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications (Section K in Solicitations) in the ORCA system.
