- Description
- This project consists of installing a government supplied arch culvert (103" x 71" x 44' ) passing Bullmoose Creek. The project also constsis of dismantling a 4 section, 40-foot span Bailey Bridge at South Beaver Creek, hauling 30 feet of the bridge approximately 85 miles to the project site and reassembling the 30 foot bridge across Leeds Creek. The Leeds Creek site has two existing native log abutments, one will serve as an abutment for this bridge and one abutment will need to be fabricated from nearby logs. The excess 10 foot section of the Bailey Bridge shall be transported to and stored at the Big Piney Ranger District warehouse yard located 1 mile south of the Big Piney Ranger District office. The project is located on the Big Piney Ranger District, Bridger-Teton National Forest, Fremont County, Wyoming. The contract will be 30 calendar days. This project is estimated to begin in July/August 2008 and may require opening up sections of road which may be snowed in. Proposals are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, July 10, 2008. The estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately June 9, 2008, and can be downloaded from this site at that time. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. The proposed project listed here is a small business set-aside.
