- USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service is announcing a project under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program for Navarro County, Texas. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for site preparation; fabrication and installation of timber headwalls; placing of rock riprap armor along stream banks; installing rock chutes in road ditches; and/or removal of debris in natural channels. There are 20 sites requiring work with the possibility of 5 optional sites, located in Precincts 1, 2, 3 and 4 in Navarro County. The work must be completed in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Range: $500,000 - $1,000,000 It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted o/a Jun 3, 2008.
