- The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Agroecosystem Management Research Unit, Lincoln, Nebraska, intends to enter into a single source contract with Syntech, Hansjakobstrasse 14, 79199 Kirchzarten, Germany, for the purchase of one new Syntech Effluent Conditioning Assembly (electrophysiological recording setup) to be used with a gas chromatograph, for identification of stable fly oviposition attractant compounds. This equipment will be used for the detection, registering and analysis of electrophysiological and behavioral responses of insects to chemical stimuli. This equipment has the capability for complete laboratory configurations dedicated to the recording of Electroantennograms and Signals from Insect Sensilla.
