- Description
- The Fleet Readiness Center Southeast, Jacksonville, FL has a requirement for the Remanufacture of the J52-P-408A/B Turbojet engine No. 1 Bearing Seal Housing. Part numbers 658098 and 2187385. The estimated quantity is 50 each per year commencing 01 Aug 2008 through 31 Jul 2009, with four one-year option periods. The intended source is PAS Technologies Inc. The remanufacturing process requires the use of the PWA 50, Chromium Carbide Hard coat using the proprietary PAS Technologies D gun application process. This requirement is being procured under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The solicitation will be made available to the public via posting on FedBizOps/NECO. The anticipated release date is 23 May 2008. Only written or electronic responses to the solicitation will be accepted. The deadline for receipt of responses will be identified on the actual solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This procurement is being conducted under FAR 13.5 Commercial Item Test Program. The NECO website has a submit bid button next to the solicitation number. DO NOT use the submit bid button on NECO to submit your proposal. When submitting electronic proposals, offerors shall attach and submit via email.
