- Description
- Rental of one track mounted excavator with thumb attachment from the date on the contract to 30 Sept 08. Excavator must be a John Deere 370c or Catapillar 330C or larger. Machine must have an attached thumb, 38' of boom reach and a 2.25 Cu Yd bucket. Machine will be used in Asphalt demolition and to feed the rock crusher at Eielson AFB, AK. It is being offered as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside for North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 532120, with a small business size standard of $23.5M. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 20 May 2008 with closing date on 28 May at 12 PM. This Request for Proposal will be evaluated on price. The Request for Proposal will be available by electronic transmission only, via the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fbo.gov). Potential offerors should register at www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to submit their contact information by registering as an interested vendor utilizing the Register as an Interested Vendor button. Please note that this function is separate from the Register to Receive Notification function. No bidders mailing list will be maintained. Offers will be submitted on the Standard Form 1449 and must include, as a minimum, the items listed in FAR Clause 52.212-1 (b) (1-11) Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Items.
