- This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to solicit as a small business set asside. This notice of intent is to request for competitive quotations. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, N00259-08-T-0121, is issued as the request for quotation (RFQ) reference number. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside and order will be a firm fixed price order. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 532490: $6.5 Million Dollars. All responsible small businesses may submit a quote that shall be considered by the agency. All quotations should be directed to Reagan Pablo, Naval Medical Center San Diego, 34800 Bob Wilson Drive, San Diego, CA, 92134, or by e-mail to reagan.pablo@med.navy.mil on or before May 07, 2008 0800. Pacific Daylight Time to be considered responsive. No phone inquiries will be accepted. In accordance with FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items (1999), award will be made based on technical abilitity, price, and ability to provide specified period of performance. These evaluation factors have equal levels of importance. Contractor MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. The website address for CCR registration is www.ccr.gov. Contractor MUST complete FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (NOV 2006), when submitting a proposal.
