- Architect and Engineering (A/E) Services - The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 50 Irving Street, NW, Washington, DC 20422 seeks a qualified A/E firm that specializes in design and/or renovation of VA Health Care facilities, specifically design of hospital Nursing Service's Supply Processing and Distribution (SPD) department, to provide a complete A/E design for Project 688-326. This project encompasses two phases. The first phase of this project will produce construction documents for the relocation and reconfiguration of Acquisitions and Material Management Service's(AMMS) storage and office areas which are currently co-mingled with Nursing Service's (SPD) areas and relocate the AMMS areas to the Warehouse. The second phase of this project will produce construction documents for the relocation and configuration of the SPD department so as to improve efficiency. The SPD area will be expanded to encompass part or all of the areas vacated by AMMS. Firms must be located within a 200 mile radius of the VA Medical Center, Washington, DC 20422. Qualified firms must submit their completed SF 330 to the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (90C), Attn: Dorrence A. Carrington, 50 Irving Street, NW, Washington, DC 20422. Firms must submit four copies of the SF 330 w/ NO PHOTOS. The SF 330 can be found on the GSA forms website: HTTP://WWW.GSA.GOV. The VA will shortlist the firms utilizing the SF 330 form and interviews will be limited to no more than five (5) selected firms based on the outcome of the scoring. This is a total small business set aside. NAICS Code: 541310/size standard is $4.5 million. This is not a request for proposal nor will a solicitation package or bidder/plan holder list be issued. Do not fax forms or email forms, they will be rejected. Response to this notice is required no later than May 30, 2008 at 2:00PM Eastern Standard time.
