- MULTIPLE AWARD INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) TASK ORDER CONTRACT FOR GENERAL CONSTRUCTION, REPAIR AND ALTERATIONS FOR THE STATES OF MAINE AND NEW HAMPSHIRE Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Construction term Contract to provide all necessary labor, material, supervision and equipment for as needed general repairs and alterations of various values to Government owned and leased facilities throughout the states of Maine and New Hampshire. The scope of work for the resultant contract will be primarily a broad range of general office renovation, interior construction type projects and building exterior repair and alteration work at various federal facilities consisting of geographically separated large and medium size, multi-story office buildings, and Border Stations in Maine or New Hampshire. All contracts will be for a period of one (1) base year with four (4) option years, not to exceed five years. This solicitation is set aside for small businesses only. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 and the small business size is $31 Million. As a result of this solicitation, the Government anticipates that a maximum of five (5) IDIQ contracts will be awarded for both states for a total of five (5) IDIQ contracts to the offerors whose submissions represent the best value to the Government as outlined in the Solicitation. Provided that sufficient qualified contractors present offers, the Government expects to award one (1) contract to at least one technically qualified HUBZone, one Small Disadvantaged Business and one Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Offerors will be asked to submit technical and price proposals for a “pilot project” entitled “ISA, Interior Space Alterations for DHS-CBP, Portland Custom House, Portland, ME”, estimated cost range between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. One of the awardees will be awarded this project. The summary scope of work for this pilot project involves refurbishing two floors inside the building and replacing exterior doors in a historic building. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: GSA is issuing this solicitation electronically only. All technical documents, including a detailed Statement of Work, will be available through a secure website via a direct link from FedBizOpps. This is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified acquisition information, formerly the access portal called FedTeDS. Instructions and information on how to become registered in FedBizOpps are available on the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov. Be advised that all interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database in order to receive an award. If you are not registered you may request an application at (888) 227-2423 or through the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov. All contractor personnel must be cleared prior to start of actual construction work according to HSPD-12 procedures, without exception.
