- The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service (IHS) is soliciting proposals from interested firms to provide CRNA services for the Pine Ridge Service Unit in the Aberdeen Area IHS. The IHS anticipates the award of a small business, commercial, fixed price, non-personal service type of contract for one (1) base year plus four (4) option years. CRNA services will provide services eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days per week. Contractor is responsible for pre-operative and post-operation anesthesia evaluations, possess skills necessary for anesthesia services, maintain anesthesia at the required levels, and life support functions. Contractor must be certified as a CRNA, graduate of a nursing and nurse anesthesia school, active, unrestrictive State licesne in CRNA, certified in CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, and be able to be credentialed by the Pine Ridge Service Unit. RFQ-COM-08-14 will be available for distribution approximately 5 days after publication of this notice and will be uploaded to the Federal Business Opportunities website. Solicitation closing date is tentatively scheduled for June 11, 2008. Requests for RFQ-COM-08-14 may be accessed from the Federal Business Opportunities website once released and uploaded, else it must be in writing and referencing the RFQ number.
