Description
The General Services Administration, Boston Service Center intends to solicit a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) General Construction Contract under NAICS code 236220, with a size standard of $31 million. It is anticipated that up to 5 awards may be made under the solicitation, which will be limited to general construction at federal office buildings and federal leased office space located in the Boston Service Center. The contract will also include limited design capabilities. Under the terms and conditions of the contract, each contractor will be given a fair opportunity to compete and delivery orders will be awarded on a firm fixed price basis. Projects will range in dollar value from $2,000 to the GSA prospectus level (currently $2.66 million). Each contract will have a 1 year base and four (4) one (1) year option periods. As set forth in FAR 36.204 the overall combined magnitude of these contracts will be over $10 million. Contractors shall have bonding capacity for up to $2.5 million and to cover performance of multiple delivery orders. In accordance with FAR 19.502-5, the Government intends to solicit this requirement as a 100% small business set-aside. To help satisfy GSA’s Small Business Administration contracting goals/targets, the Contracting Officer has reserved a minimum of one award each to a technically qualified HUBZone, and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concern provided that GSA receives at least one technically qualified proposal at a fair and reasonable price as evaluated in accordance with the criteria in the solicitation. The General Services Administration plans to solicit this requirement on or about June 5, 2008. Interested parties are encouraged to register at FBO.gov as an interested vendor.
