- The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a requirement for the provision of Cage Washing Chemicals, holding tanks/pumps, maintenance and training in the use of the tanks and pumps, and monitoring/oversight of chemical levels to ensure the chemicals do not run out at a Veterinary Facility located at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR), Forest Glen Annex, Silver Spring, MD. Anticipated contract type is Firm Fixed Price for a Base Year and Four Option Years. Contract Payment shall be via Government Purchase Card. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The NAICS code of this procurement is 325612 and the size standard of 500 employees. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments on or about 4 June 2008 at the following website: https://acquisition.army.mil//asfi/. Copies can also be obtained from http://www.usamraa.army.mil/pages/Solicitations/solicitations_list.cfm. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR registration can be accomplished at the following website: www.ccr.gov. All proposals submitted shall be evaluated.
