- Description
- The synopsis, originally posted on 04 April 2008 is modified as follows: The Government may award up to four contracts from this solicitation. The contracts will consist of a base year and three one year option periods. The approximate value of the contracts is a combined total of $20,000,000.00. The evaluation factors that will be used to determine the successful awardees are as follows: Factor 1 - Mission Capability, Factor 2 - Past Performance, Factor 3 - Proposal Risk, and Factor 4 - Price/Cost. Mission Capability (Factor 1) and Past Performance (Factor 2) are of equal importance. Proposal Risk (Factor 3) is slightly less important than Factors 1 and 2. Cost/Price (Factor 4) is slightly less important than Factor 3. In accordance with FAR 15.304(e), Factors 1, 2, and 3 when combined, are significantly more important than cost or price; however, cost/price will contribute substantially to the selection decision.
