- NASA/KSC has a requirement for Programmable DC Power Supplies consist of thefollowing features: Active Power Factor Correction (.99 typical), High resolution 16 bitADCs & DACs, Parallel operation with Active Current Sharing, Independent Remote ON/OFFand Remote Enable/Disable and Remote programming via RS-232, RS-485 and EthernetInterface and a total voltage drop of 4V.Qty: 4 GENESYS SERIES 1.5KW, 1U POWER SUPPLY, 0-40VDC, 0-38ADC OUTPUT, 85-265VAC,SINGLE PHASE UNIVERSAL AC INPUT, DIGITAL METERS, LAN INTERFACE OPTION (Model No:GEN40-38-LAN)Qty: 2 GENESYS SERIES 10KW, 3U POWER SUPPLY, 0-40VDC, 0-250ADC OUTPUT, 3PHASE 480VACINPUT, DIGITAL METERS, LAN INTERFACE OPTION (Model No:GEN40-250-LAN-3P480)Qty:2 GENESYS SERIES 3.3KW, 2U POWER SUPPLY, 0-40VDC, 0-85ADC OUTPUT, 170-265VAC,THREE PHASE AC INPUT, DIGITAL METERS, LAN INTERFACE OPTION (Model No: GEN40-85-LAN-3P208)NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from Lambda Americas, Neptune, NJ due to thecompability of their power supply with the current system configuration.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon 06/05/2008. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determiningwhether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination bythe Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis,based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
