- Description
- Furnish all labor, equipment, supplies and materials, except for specified Government-Furnished property (2 Project Monuments), to repair 16 reservoirs. Of the 16 reservoirs, six are fill embankments and 10 are pit excavation. Of the six fill reservoirs, all six are repairs. One reservoir repair consists of removal of a 18" x 20' rusted culvert. Two of six reservoirs are within the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument (UMRBNM). Of the ten excavation reservoirs, ten consist of pits installed in the headwaters of existing reservoirs. Work under this contract is located in Blaine County, Montana. The contractor will have forty four (44) calander days after Notice to Proceed is issued to complete the project. The work will start on/about July 28, 2008, dependent upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required upon notification of award for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment Protection will be in the form of one of the following: 1) Irrevocable Letter of Credit; 2) Certificate of Deposit, or 3) Payment Bond. Submission of the payment protection is required within 10 days of notification of award. Contractors being considered for award of a government contact must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Vendor must register their Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) online at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation for this requirement will be posted on or about June 3, 2008. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at "http://ideasec.nbc.gov". This procurement is a Total Small Business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237990. The small business size standard is $31.0 million.
