- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a contract extension, through 15 January 2009, to the Johns Hopkins University (HM1582-07-C-0025) in support of the Advancing the Automation of Image Analysis (AAIA) Program. The purpose of this extension is to continue and increase the scope of work under this Program to include: extension of the research and associated experiments. Reports shall further develop the concepts and tools pertaining to geometric-based PDE methods for shape-based target identification, segmentation and characterization. New deliverables shall include: enhanced methods and algorithms, enhanced software tools including source code, additional experiments, and additional reporting of results of the experiments, methods, and software within the scope of the original SOW.
