- Description
- This is a large acquisition for NSN 5895-01-119-9584. Specifications, plans or drawing are not available from the Government. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302. The cited drawing is a source controlled drawing and as of the date of this solicitation only the source(s) cited on the drawing have been approved. The current approved manufacturers are Herley Industries Inc (CAGE 32187) P/N MD47X3, M/A-COM, Inc. (CAGE 96341) P/N MPS654C, and Semic RF Electronic GMBH (CAGE DG438) P/N MPS654C. This solicitation will be issued on 06/06/08 and closes 07/07/08. This requirement is for a quantity of 202 each. The Government's requested delivery time is 480 days. FOB is destination and inspection/acceptance is at origin. Items are being shipped to New Cumberland, PA (W25G1U). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOps on its issue date of 06/06/08. One or more of the items under this acquistion may be subject to Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services.
