- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to acquire through other than full and open competition Virtual Rack Software from Agilent Technologies. Virtual rack software provides an interactive way to create flexible system frameworks for a variety of test equipment. The software shall integrate, automate, maintain all test systems. Key functionality: •One computer license to operate hardware, software, firmware and services components mounted and configured •Web-like interface that enables drag-and-drop system creation and modification •Library concept to pick and choose hardware, software and firmware modules from multiple vendors •Enable the user to connect, operate, automate and extend hardware, software, firmware and services within a test system. •Enable creation of flexible frameworks for networking, telemetry, mnemonics, MIL-STD-1553, FPGA, GPS synchronization and solar-array simulation The Government believes that only one responsible source, Agilent Technologies, can provide the software that will satisfy Navy requirements. This synopsis constitutes the total solicitation. There will be no other formal Request for Proposals (RFPs), or other information regarding these requirements.
