This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Solicitation document W81GYE-08-R-0015 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) to supply and install office furniture in accordance with the product specifications and floor plans. The requirement shall be Firm Fixed Price. This Request for Proposal is due by 20 June 2008, 12:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT). The RFP will result in a firm fixed price contract. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business. Qoutes are solicited from small business concerns. Proposals received from other than small business concerns will be rejected. The associated NAICS code is 442110, SIC code 5712 and size standard is 500 employees. Estimated dollar amount range from $300,000.00 - $500,000.00. SITE VISIT ARRANGEMENTS: An organized site visit has been arranged to inspect the site where they will be used to give the vendors insight as to the requirements of this solicitation. The site visit will be on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 1000 (10:00) a.m. (CDT). All interested parties should call the POC in order to obtain access to the Port of Beaumont. All individuals interested in attending the site should be at the Port of Beaumont, 1255 Main Street, Bldg. 100, Beaumont, TX 77701-3610 no later than 0945 a.m. (CDT). Electronic notification of attendance must be received no later than 0900 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2008. Point of contact is Mr. Don Japalucci, (409) 784-3810, japaluccid@sddc.army.mil. This requirement is to supply, delivery an installl office furniture in approximately 50 rooms for the 842nd Transportation Battalion's new Army Facility located at 1350 Leonard Street, Beaumont, TX 77701-3610 in accordance the product specifications and floor plans. The following tasks shall be performed independent of Government supervision, direction, or control: install all new required equipment, installation shall be performed during regular office hours (0800 - 1700), Monday - Friday unless otherwise approved by the OR, and shall consist of the purchase, delivery and installation of Office Furniture. (vii) Delivery: Completely installed on or before 31 August 2008. (x) APPICABLE WAGE DETERMINATION: The following U.S. Department of Labor Wage Determination is applicable to this procurement: Wage Determinatio No: 2005-2505 (Rev 5) dated 7/19/2007. A copy of this Wage Determination can be found at http://www.wdol.gov.
