- The United States House of Representatives (House), Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of is seeking competitive offers that will allow for the purchase of on-demand foreign language translation support to House offices to include Member offices and their associated district offices throughout the United States and its territories. The service shall provide comprehensive translation of communications such as telephone calls, personal interaction, written documents, and published materials such as websites. This RFP and any amendments, if any, are available electronically through the following website http://www.house.gov/cao-opp/currentsol.shtml. Questions relating to this RFP shall be submitted in writing to Toinetta Bridgeforth by e-mail to toinetta.bridgeforth@mail.house.gov with a copy to Lawrence.toperoff@mail.house.gov 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time June 2, 2008. Written responses to all questions will be provided in the form of an amendment to this solicitation. The deadline for receipt of proposals is by 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time June 20, 2008. No verbal requests for the solicitation package will be honored.
