Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), SF-18. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339950. Award will be made on or about July 30, 2008. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business 8(a). Offeror must complete all items listed under Clause 52.212-3, entitled – Offeror Representations and Certifications or register online at www.orca.gov – Commercial Items. Offerors must register in CCR prior to responding to this request for proposal. Register at www.ccr.gov. If not already registered, you should immediately register with CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the internet. Contractors are required to have a Dun & Bradstreet number (DUNS) in order to be registered in the CCR database. Lack of registration prior to award, may make an offeror ineligible for award. A contractor can receive a DUNS number by calling DUN & Bradstreet at (800) 333-0505. Internet registration takes approximately 72 hours. Interested parties must submit any questions in writing to the Contracting Officer listed below, by fax or email. Quotations and amendments (if any) must be signed, dated and submitted in writing by 2:00 PM on June 20, 2008 Central Standard Time. Shipping Instructions: FOB destination to multiple shipping locations This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. Also, the full text of a clause may be accessed electronically at www.arnet.gov/far. Quotes must be complete, self-sufficient, and respond directly to the requirements of this RFQ. Price will always be an important factor; therefore, Offerors should make diligent efforts to control costs and submit fairly priced quotes. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items if not registered in ORCA. All quotes must be for all items stated, partial quotes will not be considered. Only firm fixed price offers will be evaluated. Items to be submitted: SF-18, Request for Quotation FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (unless registered in ORCA) Sample of Boundary Marker that is being proposed.
