- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a sole source contract on an Fixed Price Incentive basis to Kollmorgen Corporation, 347 King Street, Northampton, MA 01060-2390. The requirement is for the fabrication, assembly, and test of the AN/BVS-1 VA Class Photonics Mast System less Titanium in support of the Photonics Mast Program (PMP). The PMP System is an electro-optical replacement for conventional periscopes. The requirement will contain up to nine Photonics Mast systems (AN/BVS-1), less titanium, and all auxiliary equipment, 2,100,000 hours engineering services with associated support, provisioning item order spares, the option for up to ten spare Photonic Mast systems (AN/BVS-1) less titanium and the option for titanium ingots for the 19 shipsets to support the FY09 FY13 Virginia Class platforms.
