- The 751st Electronic Systems Group (ELSG) is seeking information and sources for the design, build, test and installation of a Mission System Trainer (MST) for the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS) aircraft, designated the E-8C. The purpose of this RFI is for information, planning, and market research analysis only; therefore, it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure an MST device at this time. This RFI is not a formal solicitation nor is it a request for proposals (RFP). Any formal solicitation will be announced separately. The Government is not responsible for any cost that vendors may incur to prepare responses to this RFI. Response to this RFI from industry is strictly voluntary. Should the 751st solicit for proposals to build the MST, such an announcement would not occur prior to calendar year 2010. Installation of the MST would then be projected for calendar year 2013.
