- Arcata Associates, Inc. intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with GrantaDesign in Cambridge, UK, to acquire the rights and usage of perpetual licenses for 750users. The use of Granta MI Restricted Substance Database License and the Granta MIRestricted Substances Report Generating License is requested. There are a total of three(3) line items; 1) 750 Users- Granta MI Restricted Substance Database License, 2) 750Users- Granta MI Restricted Substances Report Generating License, and 3) 1 Lot- FurtherOptions- Installation, training, and Onsite Support. Arcata Associates, Inc. intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested firms have until 04 Jun.2008, 4:00 PM CDST to submit in writing to theidentified point of contact, the attached Request for Quote, and all associated paperworkper the special instructions. Responses received after 04 Jun 2008 4:00 PM CDST withoutthe required information will be considered non responsive to the synopsis/solicitationand will not be considered. A determination by Arcata Associates, Inc. to not competethis proposed effort on a full and open cost competitive basis, based upon responses tothis notice is solely within the discretion of Arcata Associates, IncThis announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested per theattached Request for Quotation (RFQ) and are located in the attached Word file andincludes complete description,together with Representation and Certifications, andArcata Associates, Inc. Terms and Conditions and all attachments must be completed inorder for consideration. Each section of the SOW must be addressed. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this Internet site for the release of anyamendments, and clarifying questions and answers.
