- Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Affairs medical Center (VAMC)-Ann Arbor Healthcare System, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price order for one Catwalk System for Automated Quantitative.Analysis of Gait in Rats and Mice. NAICS Code 423450, size standard 100 Employees. Contractor shall furnish a Catwalk System (Brand Name or Equal) to include all parts, materials, labor, hardware, software, manuals and warranties. The Catwalk System is to provide an automated quantitative analysis of gait in rats and mice. The system must include Footprints; the width and length of a complete print; the duration of the stance phase; the pressure exerted; the distance between successive placements of the same paw; at a minimum. Inter-limb coordination: Examples include: step sequence; relative print positions; phase dispersions. Other examples include: base of support; relative time the abdomen touches the floor. Two (2) Owner/Operator/Maintenance Manuals are required. Video Camera, Video Digitizer, Processing Unit. Services must include: On-Site Installation and Training (One (1) Year); Technical support by phone or e-mail for One (1) Year; Software/Maintenance releases for the system.
