- VA-261-08-RP-0197 Due: June 6, 2008 Request for Proposal (RFP) - Maintenance of the McKesson Automation RxRobot Cartless System and Bulk Packager equipment at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a contract for the aforementioned items, acquisition to be accomplished by the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. Contractor to provide all labor, supplies, management and general expertise necessary to fulfill requirements. NAICS Code of 811219, size standard of $6.5 million applies. Product Service code of J065 applies. The actual solicitation should be posted on or about May 23, 2008. This is expected to be a five year contract. It will be sole sourced to McKesson Automation since this firm holds the proprietary information necessary to accomplish this effort. However any firm which has an interest may make an inquiry. Telephone requests will NOT be accepted. All questions must be submitted in writing, questions may also be faxed to W. Ulibarri, (650) 849-0332 or emailed to bill.ulibarri@va.gov. You may also mail to William Ulibarri, Consolidated Contracting Activity (CCA/90), VAPAHCS, Room C-140, Bldg. 6, 3801 Miranda Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304. Electronic solicitation may be accessed at no cost at www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendment issued against this solicitation will also be available from the same URL addresses. Contractor is responsible for submitting all documents required in accordance with the solicitation, including any amendments which will be posted on this website. Solicitation is also subject to availability of funding. Proposals shall be submitted on an all or nothing basis. Partial proposals will be rejected. Proposal shall be valid for 60 days from offer due date. The following provisions and clauses apply as appropriate plus any addenda:This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-25. Offeror shall submit all information with offer as required in 52.212-1; a completed copy of provisions 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications. Offeror may obtain copies of the referenced provisions and clauses at http://arnet.gov/far and http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/vaar/ or by sending an email to the Contracting Officer at bill.ulibarri@va.gov. The Contracting Officer may add any additional contract requirements or terms and conditions (such as contract financing arrangements or warranty requirements) determined by the Contracting Officer to necessary for this acquisition and consistent with customary commercial practices.
