- Description
- This project includes site construction survey and staking, demolition of miscellaneous existing features and underground utilities where encountered. Drill new 300 ft deep water well with pump and controls. Abandon existing water well. Electrical line and controls for new well. Replacement of approximately 2500 LF of waterline of various sizes, including valves and hydrants. Connection to existing waterlines at the building connections. Patch paving to include excavation and backfill. The Johnsondale Work Center is located on the Tule River/Hot Springs Ranger District of the Sequoia National Forest/Giant Sequoia National Monument. Johnsondale is located 26 milesw north of Kernville, California via country round M-99 at an elevation of 4700 ft. The price range of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The estimated contract time is 200 calendar days. Estimated start work date is July 14, 2008. (Project site is normally accessible year round, but is not guaranteed.) Information regarding a pre-bid tour will be provided in the solicitation when issued. Issue date is approximately May 30, 2008 with a closing date of approximately June 30, 2008. This acquisition is a total Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside.
