- The Defense Distribution Center (DDC) has a requirement for the establishment of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contract for a variety of construction/building related efforts to include, but not necessarily limited to industrial, recreational, maintenance, repair and new. All work shall be performed at the Defense Distribution Center Susquehanna (DDSP) New Cumberland and Mechanicsburg, PA. Contract period shall be from the date of award through one year with four (4) one-year option year periods. The Government intends to issue the solicitation by June 18, 2008. Proposal due date and time will be in the solicitation package. A Pre-Proposal Conference and site visit will be conducted. The exact date and time for this conference will be stated in the solicitation package. Multiple awards will be made as a result of this solicitation. The Government anticipates that contracts will be awarded to at least six (6) contractors. It is anticipated that two (2) of the 6 awards will be reserved for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), HUBZone, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business entities. Each awarded contractor shall be guaranteed a minimum of $20,000.00 during the term of the contract including option year period. The minimum ordering limitation per task order will be $2,000.00. The anticipated maximum ordering limitation for this contract is estimated up to $3,000,000.00 per year. Competition for issuance of task orders will be limited to awardees under this contract. All awardees will be given a fair opportunity to be considered for each task order. This negotiated procurement will be accomplished using a lowest price technically acceptable source selection process in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. Offerors will be required to submit a technical and a price proposal in accordance with the solicitation instructions. Specific evaluation capabilities will be stated in the solicitation. Access to the solicitation package to include the specifications and drawings will only be made available to prospective offerors via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http: www.fbo.gov. Prospective offerors are cautioned concerning their responsibility to access the Federal Business Opportunities website for any amendments that may be issued under the solicitation. There will be no advance notification of amendment issuance. Prospective offerors are advised to consult the website frequently to check for any amendments. Amendments may be issued up until the proposal due date. To receive awards resulting from solicitations issued after May 31, 1998, your company must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractor may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http:// www.ccr.gov.
