- Description: this is a sources sought announcement only. There is no solicitation available at this time. The 355th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research to seek qualified SBA Service Disabled Veteran sources and/or SBA Certified 8(a) sources capable of providing AMARG Shot Peening services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332811, Metal Heat Treating. Work includes: provide all necessary tools, equipment, materials, transportation, personnel, supervision, management and anything else required to provide Shot Peening services at AMARG, Arizona. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY! Any information submitted is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. CONTRACTOR EQUIPMENT SHALL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: The contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, parts, material, and equipment necessary to perform Shot Peening Services at AMARG, Arizona. This will be a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. The estimate annual quantities are described as follows: This requirement averages three (3) A-10 aircraft wings and five (5) small aircraft parts per month. The Contractor shall be responsible for total cost per monthly service to include per wing, per small part, setup fees, disposal of waste, certification of, and materials. Period of Performance will be a twelve month period. Place of Performance: AMARG A-10 Wing Shop, 4860 S. Superior Ave, Bldg 7401, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707. The anticipated start date is 1 October 2008 and will be for a 12 month period. Businesses shall submit electronic copy of the requested information to Bryan Jackson via mail or hand carry/ courier/ or overnight carrier, se address below, no later than 23 May 2008, 4:00 PM Arizona time. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE WHETHER THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE SET-ASIDE FOR EITHER SBA DISABLED VETERANS PROGRAM OR CERTIFIED 8(a) PROGRAM.
