- Description
- The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for 1 each Mobile Platform consists of a Chevrolet C6500 Chassis that incorporates a specialized shelter specifically designed to house sensitive scientific detection equipment. The shelter portion of the platform is approximately 20 feet in length and will incorporate support infrastructure. The shelter will also feature a pass-thru entrance from the vehicle cab, a side entrance door and a hazardous gas ventilation system. There will be extensive communications and data infrastructure to support mission reach back requirements and a precisely placed antenna layout atop the shelter. (Microsoft IE required). Items must be brand name or equal. Additional specifications and opening and closing dates will appear in the RFQ. Copies of issued solicitations can only be obtained by downloading them from the Supply and Information Services Division website http://supply.nrl.navy.mil. This requirement will be available for downloading the 16th day after publication of this synopsis. Prior to this date you will not be able to access this solicitation. Note: All offerors will be ineligible for award unless they have registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration database.
