- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25. This posting is to inform potential providers that Dover Air Force Base, Delaware has a requirement for the modification of 5 each leased vehicles to include heating and air conditioning in the rear compartment. The primary requirement: Modify 5 each Step Vans in order to have heating and air conditioning in the rear compartment. The Step Vans are Ford-Utilimaster E-350 Vans. The details of contract: Only small businesses are eligible for award. The North American Industry Classification system code is 811198. The business must have a size standard of less than $6.5 Million to be considered a small business. The provision in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, is applicable to this solicitation.
