Description
Notice of intent to award a sole source contract to REDCOM Laboratories, Inc. for a 10 day REDCOM Operations and Maintenance training with REDCOM equipment. The acquisition entails General Operations and Maintenance training and 10 days of training Military / DSN Configuration for REDCOM's High Density eXchange-Command and control (HDX-C) equipment. This equipment is being fielded to the Fleet Marine Force currently in the Deployable End Office Suite (DEOS) of the Transition Switch Module (TSM). The contract will be for the period of August 3, 2008 through August 15, 2008. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and a capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the supplies or services sought including pricing data and technical information sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the Government is available. The government will be the sole determiner regarding an offerors ability to meet all requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The government will consider all Expressions of Interest (EOIs) received prior to 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis before 1200PM PST on that date. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. FED EX/HAND-CARRIED/FACSIMILE Expressions of Interest are due by COB-1200PM (12:00 PM) PST at Address: The Purchasing and Contracting Branch, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC)/Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MCAGTFTC), Bldg 1102, Door 22, Twentynine Palms, CA 92278, ATTN: Contract Specialist Layton Matthews. All facsimile (transmission) pages must be clear in understanding; all pages of facsimile (transmission) must arrive and reach the office by the deadline specified, and any pages of facsimile (transmission) received after the specified deadline will not be considered. The submitter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmission and should confirm by telephone that any and all facsimile was received. This purchase will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(a). The anticipated award date is May 23, 2008.
