- TITLE: Construction and transportation of a concrete shelter. POSTING ID: DTFANM-08-R-00093 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Western Logistics Service Area, Northwest Mountain Region, is conducting a Markey Analysis to identify capable sources to construct and transport a concrete shelter (dimensions approximately 11'-6' wide x 20' long x 9' high), This Market Analysis is being conducting to ascertain whether adequate competition exists to set aside this procurement for competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small business or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) for participation in the SBA's 8(a) program, or full and open competition. This Market Analysis is being conducted in accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.1.2.1, Market Analysis. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for small business size standard for this procurement is 332331. For this NAICS code a small business is defined as a size standard with the maximum number of employees of 500 or less. In order to assist the FAA in making the necessary determination, interested vendors are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form, a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable and documentation that clearly demonstrates qualifications and capabilities of performing the required work. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred in preparing a response to this Market Analysis. Thus, any cost associated with this submission will be solely at the expense of the interested vendor. Any information provided in response to this market analysis will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation in any informational session is not a promise of future business with the FAA.
