Description
Reference number W912TF-08-T-0017 is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industries Classification System Code is 624110 Child an youth Services, size Standard is $6.5M. New Hampshire National Guard is requesting quotes for a week long, all inclusive, Military Teen Adventure Camp that will provide an educational and interactive experience for military teens ages 12-16. The goal of the event is to bring together military teens and build relationships between them. At camp they will have an opportunity to share their deployment and reunion stories in a safe and understanding environment. Activities required will enable them to better understand their parents military job and will enhance the participants leadership skills. From the weeklong camp event the New Hampshire National Guard Family Program will gain a pool of educated and excited teen leaders, who can mentor other military kids, act as family program volunteers, and who will be better able to cope with their own families military experiences. Preferred location for such an event is a rural location that will allow the teens to benefit from an optimal environment. Cell Phones and computers will not be accessible which will enable the teens to fully participate in the camp experience. Adventure component activities to be included, but not limited to are Swimming, water sports, and rope courses, which will allow the leadership training we are seeking. The event must take place from 17 August 2008 through 23 August 2008 as not to conflict with other official National Guard events. The location shall accommodate 25 teens and the facility shall provide staff to run the programming and be able to pass a background check at the expense of the camp, in accordance with National Guard Bureau Child and Youth Program policies. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items apply. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government based on technical conformance, cost or price, and past performance. Technical conformance and past performance when combined are equal to cost or price. The provisions and clauses listed below are applicable to this solicitation.
