- THIS NOTICE IS HEREBY CANCELLED IN ITS ENTIRETY. WILL BE REISSUED. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY - The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate with Health Promotions Now, 1270 Glen Avenue, Moorestown, NJ 08057 and Commotion Promotions, 4638 Shea Blvd., B260, Phoenix, AZ 85028. The purpose of this procurement is to purchase promotional material with the "Donate the Gift of Life" embossed. The promotional materials include economy flipper tech calculators; Donate Life luggage tag-stock; jumbo weekly pillboxes; translucent waterproof wallets; translucent pocket notepads; and travel mugs with twist off lids. Currently, only two companies are authorized and licensed to sell "Donate the Gift for Life" trademarked materials, Health Promotion Now and Commotions Promotions. These materials will be distributed at various educational and health related events and activities. These materials will also be used to promote organ donation awareness in the communities. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. In accordance with FAR 6.3, a Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is on file, which supports these two companies are the only sources that can provide the materials. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all capability statements received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
