- Purchase Number 0014054421, NSN: 3110-00-727-7278, Bearing, Roller, Cylindrical. Approved sources for this NSN: Timken Aerospace & Super Precision (Cage 78118, Part Number 40509) and SKF USA Inc. (Cage 38443, Part Number 40509). Solicitation will include a base year with 100% option. FOB Point is Destination, Inspection & Acceptance at Origin. The requested quantity is 246 each. Quantity variance is plus or minus 0%. The Government's required delivery schedule is 220 DARO for Stock. This is a Critical Application Item. This is a Source Control Item. Solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis, under other than full and open competition procedures. Solicitation will result in a Firmed Fixed Price Contract. Specifications, Plans or Drawings related to the procurement described may or may not be available by the Government on this NSN. Awards from this solicitation must be 100% domestically manufactured (U.S. or Canada) bearing and bearing components. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated solicitation issue date will be on or around 29 May 2008. In order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, the vendor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at www.dibbs.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requestors.
