- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the Format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Reference Number N4446681161B63 is issued as a request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is ONE HUNDRED PRECENT SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. NAICS 315999. The Trident Refit Facility requires the following Items in various sizes and quantities. Dupont Ty-Chem Suit #SL122T, Size: Large, Qty 10 Cases; (2) Dupont Ty-Chem Suit #SL122T, Size: X-large, Qty 10 Cases; (3) Dupont Ty-Chem Suit #SL122T, Size: XX-Large, Qty 10 Cases: (4) Dupont Ty-Chem Suit, #SL122T, Size: XXX-Large, Qty: 10 Cases; (5) Dupont Ty-Chem Suit #SL1222T, Size: XXXX-Large, Qty: 10 Cases; The following specifications is for the Ty-Chem suits: Coverall, attached hood, elastic face, elastic wrists, front zipper closure, storm flap over zipper, attached boots. Fabric: TychemSL-a lightweight fabric made from DuPont Tyvek laminated with a chemical resistant Dow Saranex, 23P film. Color: White. Seam Type: Taped, Both sewn and taped to provide strong chemical resistance against heavy liquid splashes and tough seam stress. All seams in the suit shall be stitched with polyester thread and covered with heat sealed tape on outside of the suit. The suit shall have a 26 Inch (66cm) zipper shall be constructed of 100 per cent polyester. (6) Cordova 8500 Goatskin Glove, Size: X-small, Qty 10 Dozen; (7) Cordova 8500 Goatskin Glove, Size: Small, Qty 50 Dozen; (8) Cordova 8500 Goatskin Glove, Size: Medium, Qty 80 Dozen; (9) Cordova 8500 Goatskin Glove, Size: Large, Qty 80 Dozen; (10) Cordova 8500 Goatskin Glove, Size: X-Large, Qty 80 Dozen; (11) Cordova 8500 Goatskin Glove, Size: XX-Large, Qty 20 Dozen; The following is the specifications for the Goatskin Gloves: Grain Goat leather, Keystone thumb, Shirred Elastic Back, and Unlined; (12) North Nitrile Glove, #LA172G, Size: 8, Qty 120 Dozen; (13) North Nitrile Glove, #LA172G, Size: 9, Qty 240 Dozen; (14) North Nitrile Glove, #LA172G, Size: 10, Qty 240 Dozen. The following is the specifications for the Nitrile Gloves: One hundred percent Nitrile Content offers superior resistance to cuts, snags abrasions and punctures free of latex proteins which can cause allergic reactions. Curved shaped hand provides a natural fit 17 mil (0.43mm), length 13 inches 933cm), flocked interior, green. Must provide Brand name only. No substitutes accepted.
