- This is a notice of intent of the VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas to negotiate sole source with the Curators of the University of Missouri on behalf of Missouri Rehabilitation Center to provide housekeeping and laundry services to the Mt. Vernon Community Based Outpatient Clinic located within the Missouri Rehabilitation Center. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the services that will satisfy the agency requirements and intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Other entities may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by May 21, 2008. Such capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. No solicitation will be made available and all information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the government. A determination by the government whether to open the requirement to competition or not based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the government. All inquiries must be submitted in writing to laura.watts@va.gov; telephone inquiries will not be accepted, nor will responses received after May 21, 2008.
